Guided Painting

Expression in Motion

This is not about replicating the “perfect image”: it is about using paint as a language for expression. Participants are guided through a reflective, step by step process that encourages exploration, emotional release, and intuitive creativity. Through color, layering, and the use of various tools, participants create a piece that is uniquely their own while staying grounded in the present moment.

Workshops are available for all ages, with taste-safe paint options for early childhood and non-toxic paint for early elementary.

Collage and Visioning

Storytelling Through Image

This experience expands beyond traditional vision boarding. Through collage, participants explore personal narratives, cultural connections, and imaginative futures. Mixed media, imagery, and guided prompts invite participants to create visual stories that reflect where they’ve been, who they are, and where they’re going.

Afrofuture Fashion

Power of Imagination

Participants are invited to explore fashion as a space for imagination, storytelling, and cultural expression. Working with illustrated figures, participants design original looks inspired by Afrofuturism—blending identity, history, and possibility into bold visual concepts. By removing the constraints of wearable construction, this process creates freedom to experiment, take risks, and bring visionary ideas to life on the page.
